Project Management Job Description

This is an opportunity to make a real difference in a small, dynamic company which specialises in high quality energy efficient residential and commercial new-build and retrofit projects.

This is an end-to-end project management role which will requires a highly capable individual who will execute small to medium size construction projects from concept to completion.  There is a high degree of autonomy, responsibility and direct client interaction throughout.

The role requires:

Required skills and experience:

Outstanding organisational and management skills, including the ability to work on a number of similar projects at once

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Capable of communicating and interacting at all levels – from Board to sub-contractor tradesman

High levels of innovation, analytical skills and problem solving

Significant experience of the construction sector, ideally with site experience

Good level of diplomacy, leadership and team work

A keen eye for the detail, combined with an understanding of how such specifics fit in with the project as a whole

Experience and understanding of low energy design and technologies desirable, but not mandatory

Good customer service skills

Excellent telephone manner
