We hold full Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) and Competent Person accreditation for solar PV and Solar Thermal, as do all Enhabit installers and subcontractors. This means that all of our installations are eligible for relevant grant funding such as the Feed-in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) – which could mean hundreds of pounds extra for you every year.
We are members of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) and are fully committed to complying with the RECC in its entirety. The RECC was set up by the Renewable Energy Association to improve industry standards in the selling or leasing of small-scale renewable or other low carbon heat and power generators to domestic consumers. The Code is backed by the Trading Standards Institute (TSI) as part of a self-regulation initiative; the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme.
Our MVHR installation managers are BPEC-accredited to test and commission ventilation systems in homes.
Enhabit team members are Certified Passive House Designers/Consultants and hold Retrofit Coordinator Diplomas from the Centre for Retrofit Excellence (CoRE).
The Passivhaus Trust, an independent, non-profit organisation that provides leadership in the UK for the adoption of the Passivhaus standard and methodology.
The Green Register, pioneers of sustainable building training since 2000.
The Association for Environment Conscious Building (AECB), which helps individuals and companies build and share knowledge about sustainable and green building including Passivhaus and low energy design.
