Enhabit working with Passivhaus Trust to promote Passive House amongst self-build community

By Akta Raja , Monday 12th December, 2016

As part of our commitment to supporting low energy design in all aspects of construction in the UK, we’ve been working with the Passivhaus Trust to promote Passive House energy efficient design for self-builders working on their own projects.

Incorporating Passive House concepts of low energy design into your self-build project is easier than ever. Together with the Passivhaus Trust, we’ve created a video featuring an interview with our very own Managing Director and Passive House Consultant John Palmer on why building to Passivhaus standards is perfect for self-builders.

PassivHaus goes Personal campaign

Passivhaus goes Personal is a new campaign that we’ve created with the Passivhaus Trust to promote and persuade those contemplating a self-build to build to Passivhaus standards. As much as possible we want to support the industry, and for that we’ve been working with fellow Passive House industry advocates including Green Building Store and Beattie Passive.

The video below explains the many benefits that building to Passivhaus can bring. It’s not just about energy efficiency, but also comfort, security, peace of mind and sustainability.
