Mole Architects engaged the Norwich team to work collaboratively with the client to develop the designs to achieve Passivhaus LEB standard. Specific attention was given to understanding and minimising the summer solar gains whilst maintaining the intent of the architect and client to maximise the views to the south-west elevation. With accurate shading modelling, occupancy and summer ventilation stress testing, we were able to confirm that the building should remain well within the PH requirements for summer overheating and remain comfortable all year round.
